குரு பிரம்மா குரூர் விஷ்ணு குரு தேவோ மகேஸ்வரஹா குரு சாக்ஷாத் பர பிரம்மா தஸ்மை ஸ்ரீ குரவே நமஹGuru is verily the representative of Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva. He creates, sustains knowledge and destroys the weeds of ignorance. I salute such a Guru.
அஹண்ட மண்டலாகாரம் வ்யாப்தஃம் யேனம் ச்சாராச்சரம் தத்பதம் தர்ஷிதம் ஏன தஸ்மை ஸ்ரீ குரவே நமஹா .
Guru can guide us to the supreme knowledge of THAT which pervades all the living and non-living beings in the entire Universe (namely Brahman). I salute such a Guru.
